Lakeside Wedding 2013

I photographed this CT Lakeside Wedding after a 1.5 hr drive up to a gorgeous lake community.  After scouting locations with the couple a few week earlier, I got a sense that Berkeley (my intern) might get distracted by the other star of the day, Sherman, the adorable wiener dog.  Wikepedia states that the ‘dachshund was bred to scent, chase, and flush out badgers and other burrow-dwelling animals.’  There were no badgers at this event but Sherman certainly had plenty to do.  Keeping his mommy in check on her special day was his important task.  I do love when kids and family pets play a role in special events.  They always seem to add an element of  innocence and mischief…  Roma and Mike were stars on their special day.  I cant say enough about this witty couple.
